Shell Island

Shell Island

Shell Island is located in Llanbedr its an island famous for its shells, flowers, wild birds, fishing and beautiful views of Cardigan bay and the mountain range of Snowdonia. The beaches are nicely varied from rockpools to miles of clear clean sand. The island is geared for camping and offers superb facilities for such an activity though campers must keep an eye on the tide times as the island does get cut off at certain periods. The island is ideal for children as they can run and play within a reasonably safe feeling environment upon the sand dunes and beaches. Caravans are not allowed on the island.
