Amstrad PC 1640
These machines were very popular back in the 80’s as they were much much cheaper than the offerings from IBM who were very much King of it all. The 1640 replaced the 1512 model but had 640KB of RAM. The processor was an intel 8086 pounding away at a whopping 8MHz. These models could have a hard disk installed at great cost on an expansion card.
