Amstrad 286

Amstrad 2286 PC

This model had the internal 40MB hard drive. If one compares the quality of this product against the Compaq 286 it can clearly be seen that the Amstrad seems shoddy in its design and quality. Instead of the single clean motherboard design it has several linked together and cables are abound everywhere. Also notice the little jump leads on the circuit boards where mistakes in manufacture have been made. But it did bring computing into the hands of everyone which was the intention.
